Choosing daily boss scroll?

In regards to the daily/weekly lvl 50 black spirit boss scroll quests, I heard that you can choose which one to receive based on your location? i.e accepting quest at Calpheon gives you Red Nose

Are these daily boss scroll quests random in which one they give you? (For example: I want the weekly witch scroll for better % at liverto, but I keep getting monastary leader) Is there a way to choose which boss scroll you want, without prior knowledge?
