The Road Behind a Seeker, and the Road Ahead of Him

Psalms 32:3-4 (NABRE), "3 Because I kept silent, my bones wasted away; I groaned all day long. 4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength withered as in dry summer heat." I have had the typical angsty teenage experience of trying to find yourself spiritually, one could say. I have always been an agnostic, as is my immediate family. As the psalmist wrote, it just stopped working for me. I went through a neopagan phase, a Thelema phase, to Deism through The Age of Reason, then reading the Qur'an, the Bhagavad Gita, Meditations, going into Baha'i, only to come to where I am now, just bending over backwards to find some meaning to what it is I'm doing. Raised in a rural environment of hypocrites, Pharisees masquerading as Christians, I hadn't ever really considered Christ. But, through everything I've been through and some deep thinking, I have come here. My interest in Christianity is currently directed at the Episcopal Church or Catholic Church, but I am afraid of doing the same old thing I've done with everything else I've grown discontent with. Perhaps with a community of faith I will persevere. Perhaps I will be saved by the blood of the Lamb. Either way, I wanted to ask for your prayers and advice at this point in my life. Any help is appreciated, and feel free to ask if you want me to clarify anything. God bless.
