New here and I have a question

How do I get my grits to not stick to the pan when I make them for breakfast? I'm trying to adapt to this place but this is the hardest part. Thanks for your patience with me.

EDIT: Learned some awesome stuff. 1. more butter. 2. gays love grits. 3. instant grits are great. 4. instant grits are the devil. 5. I will probably starve unless I figure out a way to harvest the grits from the bottom of my pan.
