Any way to get snapping midi pitch automation in ableton when using Serum/Massive?

In all my years using ableton this has always been a thorn in my side.

Is there any way in ableton get the pitch bend automation of midi coming out of a synth to snap to semitones? Currently, it's like I can go into the synth and set the pitch bend to a max/min, and then in ableton I can automate to the those values all the way up or all the way down, but none of the pitches in between.

The only way I've found, is to look at the automation value in ableton when I drag the automation to max (it's just some random number like 9000 or something), make the pitch bend 12 and get out a calculator and calculate how many meaningless-ableton-units equals one semitone. But this is not very convenient nor reliable...

I want to be able to pitch bend all over the place, but still be moving between real pitches.

Any ideas? It's a really simple thing, I find it odd that its so hard to do.
