Is it now possible to put an AGS-101 screen into a Gameboy Color

I was tinkering with my old AGS-101 screen which is already useless since most of the screen now is white.

I checked the LCD and teared the metal casing until the core LCD was left. I was wondering if someone here was able to put the AGS-101 LCD into a Gameboy Color. I was thinking that I can fit it using some tools and shaving off some parts of the casing, but the next problem is the mod cable for the LCD.
