[Update] "Guest" ain't no name for an escort card...

So, I really appreciated the feedback y'all provided in my previous post.
FH contacted his younger cousin, whom I realized probably doesn't understand wedding etiquette (I mean, before planning this thing I wouldn't have known either!). He messaged her on Facebook, asking for the name of her guest for his/her escort card. Turns out, she doesn't know who she is bringing, if she decides to bring anyone at all. FH let her know that if we don't receive a name by our RSVP deadline, we will put her down as coming solo.
My lesson? I'm not going to assume anything anymore and when in doubt, I am going to just ask the invitee. If we had simply put CousinInLaw's Guest on an escort card without asking, we'd probably be out $150 for the guest she decided not to bring.
Anyways, thanks always for your insight!
