[open request] first tattoo open to interpretation

Hello, I am looking into getting my first tattoo soon and I know the concept however while I have looked around I have been unable to find anything close to what I want. The design I want is a shoulder piece that also is going to rest on my upper pectoral\under collarbone area. I picture it in my mind of a black a white tree starting with roots moving up my arm to my shoulder and the branches shifting into ocean waves. Any take on this would be greatly appreciated.
