[NEWBIE] Hi, looking for some tips on my guitar

I've never played and I really want to now, I have a red Fender stratocaster (idk much about it, it was given to my brother then he gave it to me.) and it has no strings in it, but I'm looking for some tips for strings to put in it and stuff. Anything cheap would be nice. Heres a pic of what it looks like
