Does anyone familar with Audible's selection have a good suggestion for Buddhist audiobooks (ideally worth over 14.95)?

Request

I have a credit for an audiobook on Audible, and I'd like to get a Buddhist audiobook. If you could help me with that, I'd appreciate it.

Some criteria:

  • It **can't be **The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching; Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind; Buddhism: Plain and Simple, or The Essential Dogen. I have the former on book and audiobook, and the latter three on book with no interest in getting the audiobook. However, I love these books, and if you'd like to base suggestions on these, that's fine. But I'm open minded.

  • Sufficient narration. The reason I'm asking instead of just crosschecking the sub's reading list is because I'd also like good feedback from you guys on the quality of narration, mainly for ordinary reasons, but also for fluid pronuncation of foreign words. For the record, I thought THOTBT was an excellent narration.

  • I'd like it to be at least $14.95. This is how much the credit is. If it's under than, and many are, I could just buy it anytime.

  • It must absolutely be unabridged. I don't see why I'd use up my credit on less than a full book.

For background, I am a beginner, to the point that I don't really call myself Buddhist (then again, I've heard good things about never doing so), with some orientation toward Zen. I have a natural interest in philosophy, however a compelling case was made for focusing on practice, to the point of exclusion if need be. But really, either one would do.

Feel free to ask me questions even if you don't recommend anything at first. I love to be engaged. Ultimately I'll get one book at most right now, but the books I buy tend to be ones I hear about often until finally I'm overcome by the weight of familiarity and reputation. Not to say I won't buy something unfamiliar, just whether or not I buy the book, hearing about it is a good step in the direction. Therefore, any help at all you have to give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
