any ironman tips or tricks?

I'm about to start playing on an iron man that I quit 4 days into because internet issues...

It's 40 att about the same in str and def....alittle below 40. 30 something magic....Already has rune scim. [not impressive]

Any starting methods or tricks?

Plans are to get void melee, and range...ava...some stats for zulrah and barrows.
