Shoe question

Hi everyone, I was looking at the sidebar, but find that I am really struggling with the appropriate type of shoe to wear. I would like a shoe that looks a bit more grown-up than a skateboarding shoe, but has a similar kind of feel. In our area, really wearing the "casual" shoes as defined by the sidebar would be too formal. For example, the casual shoes I wear currently are Blundstone boots. I'd like a shoe that is a bit more comfortable and casual, while still looking good with a variety of jeans, shorts, etc. Any thoughts?
