Looking for dev board with ethernet and ddr3.

Hi guys, During my studies i worked alot with a digilent spartan 3A board using vhdl, now i want to start using verilog and focus on learning ethernet and ddr3 applications.

As the title says DDR3 and ethernet are a must, any other add would be nice, hdmi and pcie are on the top of my list.

Since i am still an student i am limited to a top of $100ish usd, so i am asking you for help.

Right now i have found some options:

  • Artix-7 35T Arty FPGA Evaluation Kit ($99 board + $15 shipping at digilent)
    • Artix-35T
    • ethernet
    • 256 ddr3
    • arduino shield connectors
    • pmods
    • includes vivado license
  • Z-turn Board ($99 board + $30 shipping at myir)
    • Zynq-7010
    • ethernet
    • 2x 512 ddr3
    • HDMI + lots of things
    • needs extra board to get pmod and IO pins.

it seems that Zturn is better but the shipping rates are killing me :(, also i want to use vivado (i am pretty used to ISE) and i dont know if the webpack license is enough to fully use the board, also i am concerned that the board is shown ans a single board computer and i am afraid that i am limited of what i can do.

So, whats your opinion guys?, any other options?

Thanks in advance!
