As a current believer in climate change, I have a few questions about your views. I'm open-minded and totally willing to hear other POVs, so please don't turn this into a shit-fest.

At this point, I believe that scientific evidence points to the existence of climate change, as well as it being a potentially major threat in the near future.

However, I've never actually looked into the views of the other side. I've just always assumed that they were wrong. Maybe this won't change my views, but it's at least worth a try.

Here are the questions:

  1. In what ways do you believe that the evidence points away from climate change's existence?

  2. Do you believe in the theory of evolution? (For context, I do.) What are your religious views?

  3. If climate change isn't real, then what is the purpose of the myth? Does it bring in money? Keep people in order? Why is it a concept?

  4. I've heard frequently that 97% of scientists believe in man-made climate change. Is this a true statistic?

I'd love to get some answers so that I can better understand climate skepticism. I'm not here to debate, so I will not be defending my current position. Have a lovely day.
