[EVENT]Philippines introduces fuel rationing and price freeze; To invest more in public transportation
After the invasion to the United Arab Emirates by the Iranians, Philippines has immediately declared fuel rationing and a national price freeze, which will be in place until the Brent Oil Average drops to $150/barrel.
With the oil prices predicted to rise to $200/barrel or above, the need of oil price freeze is heavily needed to keep the nation running. The oil price per barrel will artificially drop to $150/barrel and will remain at that level until the price drops from that level for a week.
Meanwhile, there has been a spike in the use of the light rails in the Philippines and especially in Manila. Mayors from all over the nation are complaining about the increasing oil price and the lack of public transportation. Philippines, in the end of the year, will announce plans to unleash an economic stimulus in infrastructure and will build light rail in 5 regional centers as well as creating public bus routes in Metro Manila.
