Building first Recipe. Need some input
Been wanting to do something with HBC438 so I decided to build my own since there aren't many recipes out there. Decided to combine 438 with Mosaic and see how fruity/juicy I can make an IPA. I also had a spare oz of citra that I decided to throw in just because.
I'm pretty convinced this will be the grain bill. Need some suggestions on the hop schedule as I'm thinking it will give me a big fruit kick and hoppiness with a smooth bitterness from the Magnum. Wasn't exactly sure how to calculate IBUs for the whirlpool but with 10% utilization that would give me an additional 50-60 IBU.
