Dabbing rig neck snapped? (6)

Waddup r/trees! So I just got a small dabbing rig for 4/20, I've done it before but never actually heated it. I got a titanium nail with it. Heated it up for probably a minute, did a small dab, heat up for another 20-30 seconds then another, and then heated it like 15 seconds and did my last dab. Now i didn't drop the piece or anything, I had it sitting on my dresser. I heard something fall down behind me and I noticed that the neck had snapped off right at the edge of the nail. Did I heat the nail too much?

[EDIT] It was only like 15 minutes after the sesh. Between dabs was probably 5 minutes.
