Makeup making eyes red?

I've been noticing for awhile now at the end of my shifts at work, my eyes look kind of red with my everyday makeup. I only put on liquid liner for my top lids and pencil for my water line. This has been my look for years bc foundation makes me break out. I go from Kat von Ds tattoo liner and lancomes art pen for my liquid. For my pencil it's been the makeup forever aqua eyes or urban decays 24hr glide on pencil. Not sure if this makes a difference. I just want know what could be causing this. My shifts run from 5 to 10 hrs a week too.
