Where do psychics draw their information from?

I have been having a hard time in my life lately, so out of desperation, I went to see a psychic. This psychic had also been seen by my sister and her friend, and the things she told them about their lives were spot -on. When I went to go see her, she read my psalms and everything she told me about my life, such as my past, and my present, everything was extremely correct and in a sense it felt like she was reading my mind.

She has offered to become my spiritual advisor, and has given me some stones to place over my heart, and a stone necklace to wear. For a while I was feeling optimistic, because she also told me that I will have a long and abundant life (despite me feeling extremely suicidal) and she also told me some things about what's going to happen in the upcoming months, and that everything is going to work out for the best. I want to be positive and believe her, since she was overwhelmingly correct when she read into my past and present situation, but at this present moment I'm feeling very low and very depressed (I'm on a very high dosage of antidepressants which seems to have failed me today).

Should I do as she says and take her word for it? Being positive is hard for me at the moment. I have to call her again on Saturday to report my progress.
