Across the world in the Philippines, the two Algerian buildings in Davao and Manila have finished construction and begun to thrive as Islamic cultural centers.

The Dar al-Dawa in Davao serves the 15% Muslim population in the city as well as providing an introduction to the tenets of Islam for anyone interested. The Dar al-Dawa in Manila does not have a large Muslim population to cater to, and thus serves purely as an educational center, though it has space reserved for a mosque area should conversions to Islam begin to take place.
