2 Power sources?

So have any of you thought of doing something big? Real big...like driftwood big, say about 16"x5"? Could i run 2 power boxes to the same plates and piece? Would the auto balance of Ohms law apply to the 2nd box? Could i harm my power supplies? Any info is welcome!
