Noob here

Ok, I purchased the Raspberry Pi 3 kit, followed the steps at Stratux.me to update firmware via the SD card online, I upgraded to the NooElec Mini 2 (purchased 2 of them hoping to get 1090 ADSB per a recommendation from a friend, but only 1 can fit due to their size), powered it up, connected to 192.168.10.1 and am connected.

I didn't plug in my keyboard and mouse into the unit as per what the Pi3 kit called for. Is that mistake number 1?

The reason for my post is that on foreflight, I am not picking up any traffic, weather, nothing. AHRS is disabled. Like I said, I am a complete greenhorn and can use any and all help to get this thing working right.
