Some advice on what to buy as a new player please?

I started 3 or 4 days ago and I have $57 on itunes that I don't mind spending on Hearthstone, since it's all from gift cards and has been sitting unspent for 2 - 3 years.

In my earlier post today, it was recommended to me that I stay away from Nax/GvG cards since they won't be available in standard format, and that I should just buy LoE and maybe blackrock, and spend gold on classic packs.

I'd like some other insight into how I can most effectively spend my money though. I've developed my deck for the hunter the most this far, and have him at level 23 so I think I want cards that synergize with him more.

I've been thinking of spending $50 on the whispers of the god pre-order or 40 classic card packs, and then using the remaining $7 to either buy 4 classic card packs or the 1st wing of one of the adventures (Maybe Nax since it'll disappear if I don't and maybe if wild turns out to be more popular I'll want access to that?).

Or should I just buy LoE + Blackrock and spend the rest on classic packs or Whispers of the old gods packs?

Should I spend it on other things?
