Controllers wont connect

i'm dying here. I've been working on this for hours. I think I messed up during initial setup by plugging into a USB3 port. Tracking wasnt working on one basestation and the HMD. Controllers were connected fine. I switched to a USB2 port and everything started tracking fine but the controllers would turn on green then turn off right away. Never show in steamvr. I tried to re-pair them and nothing. I cannot get to to connect. One is green then off the other solid blue.

I uninstalled the USB drivers via steamvr and had them reinstall, nope.

I havent even gotten to room setup yet

Anyone have any ideas?
