[Theory] Seth Rollins will be revealed as leader of the new faction. The next big storyline will be The Authority vs Seth Rollins' new faction.
I believe the next big story will signal the end for The Authority.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson recently debuted by randomly attacking the Usos. They will clearly have a bigger role in the coming months. There has been a large amount of speculation about them being apart of a new faction, potentially WWE's version of the NJPW's "Bullet Club".
People have been trying to figure out how that whole faction business is going to start, and what their impact may be.
Just to get it out of the way...I do not believe Finn Balor is going to be involved in this new faction at the start. I expect him to join at a later point. (This is a whole topic in itself, so I won't focus too much on it.)
Seth Rollins will be making his return from injury within the next few months. Possibly in June or July by the sounds of it. When he returns it will be to reveal that he is the one who has been pulling the strings behind the beat downs that Gallows and Anderson have been dishing out. The proverbial "third man" for you nWo fans out there.
Why? He wants to get rid of the Authority. He wants to do this because they turned his back on him when he got injured. He also realizes how wrong he was in thinking that it was a good idea to join-up with them, and this will cause him to return as a face. He is coming back as a face no matter what, so why not have him face off against his former bosses.
I also think this storyline makes sense because it has the potential to make a lot of money, especially the merch sales for the new faction.
That won't be for a few months though, in the meantime it will be Gallows and Anderson continuing channel their inner "Shield" by randomly attacking people, just like Seth did when he was apart of the famous trio.
But eventually this is the direction I think they will be going in.
Seth vs HHH will happen this year. The Authority vs Seth's faction will happen this year. Summerslam seems too early, so maybe at Hell in a Cell or Survivor Series. The Authority is almost done. I can feel it. They are already using The Authority less and less as it is, so I think they will be involved in this massive storyline as a send off of sorts.
That is just a bit of theorizing about how they could do the debut of this new faction that everyone is excited for, while also having it make sense within the context of the WWE. I am sure there will be much more to this storyline, but that is just a general outline for how I think it will go down.
Feel free to tell me to "go fuck myself", or you could give any thoughts or insight into my little theory. This theory is completely my own, so if I copied anyone else's predictions than that is purely coincidental.
I think it makes sense story-wise, and it isn't TOO far fetched. Who knows for sure what is gonna happen, that is a big reason why I even watch WWE week after week. Have a good one!
