04/14/2016 Bug List
Hi all, since a new update came, I've compiled a new list as mentioned in the previous thread. I didn't see specific mention in the new update about the prison map's stuck zeds. I'll keep an eye out (or if someone wants to let me know) if #1/#2 are fixed already. Let me know if you guys would like more details or sources on anything.
-
When playing solo (online/offline), it is defaulting to the last played online filters. This one is confusing many people.
-
Server browser filters for wave length resets to short every time.
-
Prison: some zed spawns on roof/off map on prison versus do not allow you to move.
-
Prison: some zeds get stuck by the wall next to the courtyard.
-
Known issue (I think): if your avatar is too large, your game will crash either on start up or when you join/host a map. 5.a. There are a decent amount of causes for start-up crashes or joining-game crashes. Some generate a great log file while others are a big more ambiguous. If the source can't be fixed yet, it'll make a lot of people's lives easier if the Bugsplat could be improved slightly. That way the community can keep on chugging helping each other out.
-
Outpost: some zeds get stuck on the platform outside the armory towards the middle of the map. This platform connects to the mess hall. This occurs when playing by the trucks. acknowledged by devs
-
Being grabbed by zeds then falling still restricts you to the grab lock even though you're not physically near the zed anymore.
-
The trader doesn't detect if you've leveled mid-game (for that game).
-
Matchmaking doesn't always correctly place you in the difficulty you are looking for.
-
There are multiple reports of translation achievement errors. The right icon displays but the wrong text is linked to it. Here is one link: http://steamcommunity.com/app/232090/discussions/1/494632338490125855/
-
Prison: two invisible walls. This is by the single door going into the courtyard.
-
For AMD users the crossbow scope causes large drops in frames. acknowledged by devs
-
In survival, the patriarch and his mini-gun do not always face the direction he is actually shooting.
-
Once in a while a person's perks will all get set to the "left-side" skill.
-
Server filters reset when switching between survival and versus. This includes the left-side filters as well.
-
Music: The song "Someone To Hate" has an instrumental version that plays for full length without issues (5+ minutes). However the vocals version plays about half-length (2min 30s). Not sure if this is intended or not. It is also missing from the deluxe OST.
