Looking for a new RTS game.

I just got a new computer. I haven't been able to play a new RTS game since Empire total war and I love RTS games so I was hoping someone could suggest a few since I've been out of the loop for a while. I'm considering Star craft 2 though I never played the first. I would like to play a newer total war game, but I read a few reviews on the more recent ones and they seem to have gone down in quality :( Anyway, anyone able to make a suggestion?
