I have over $2,000 in medical bills, how should I go about paying them off?

Budgeting

Hello Personal Finance! I recently had to have minor surgery done on my leg after cutting it pretty badly a couple months ago. I got the bills a few weeks ago and it's divided into 4 bills

Radiology Bill $36 [Paid]

Physician Bill $1621

ER Bill $543

Brace $41 (About to pay)

This comes out to $2,205 that I haven't paid yet. However, I don't make nearly enough money to pay that in a manageable amount of time. After paying for rent and bills (not including food or gas), I have about $350 left in funds, and I try to save $50 of that in savings each month.

I talked with my parents and they said I should at least pay a little bit per month, that way they won't send it to collections. I asked about getting a credit card, but my mother said I'll just accrue too much interest before being able to pay it off.

Is there a better way to pay it off? Or is there any assistance that I can apply to to help pay it off? I don't qualify for Medicaid and I don't/didn't have any health insurance.

Thank you!
