I know it doesn't matter where your calories come from as long as you're in a deficit, but...

What would be the optimal intake for fat loss? My husband seems convinced that when I was on a stall, it was because I was eating whatever I wanted and not paying attention to fats or carbs.

At 140 lbs, I aim for ~100g of protein. Beyond that, I eat 1200-1400 calories per day depending on my activity level. I eat whatever I want, literally. If I want a cheezburger, cool, iifym. In order to not stave on 1200 calorie days though, I've learned how to eat more filling foods, so it's not like I'm eating crap every day.

Other than a stall and a slow down every once in a while, I have successfully lost 15 lbs in about 2.5 months time. Obviously CICO works, but can it go beyond that?

Would paying attention to my fats and carbs actually make any difference in my weight loss? When I started trying to lose weight, there were all kinds of ratios out there. MFP doesn't place enough emphasis on protein, so I tend to ignore that. IIFYM isn't currently working on my computer for whatever reason.

Thanks ladies and gents (if you're wandering around here)!!
