How I should have booked Episode 1: Stone Cold's Heel Turn

First off, I would turn Triple H face, and keep Vince away from this as possible.

Austin explains his actions, berating the fans who used to cheer his name.

Triple H comes out, challenges Austin to a match at Backlash, but Austin refuses.

This makes Austin a credible heel, by refusing to accept challenges against credible opponents, instead going after the weaker members of the roster.

Austin vs The Rock vs Triple H

Triple Threat for the WWF Championship.

Austin pins Rock with help from Vince. They shake hands and gloat when suddenly...

"I was dead. But now I'm alive"

Austin defeats Undertaker at Judgement Day, believing he was the cause of the promo.

After the match, Stone Cold cuts a promo saying he didn't need McMahon's help to win the match, although he cheated in that match when all of a sudden:

"I was dead, but now I'm alive"

Someone from Stone Cold's past is coming for his WWF title.

The next night, Austin ends his association with Vince, when he is attacked backstage by a guy in a trenchcoat and sunglasses, and the camera does not reveal his face.

Austin pins Benoit to retain, afterwards he is attacked by the same man who laid him out weeks earlier, then reveals himself to be:
