Trying to reinstall OS X after wiping my computer.

Long story short, I wiped my computer thinking I was going to sell it. Turns out I'm keeping it but already cleaned it off. I get this message "this disk is locked". I've tried looking this problem up online but it seems a lot of different people have experienced different results. Any first hand help would be appreciated.
