Playing with random people on steam with a Zoid profile pic (story)

About 2 months ago i started using liger zero as my profile picture on steam. I Play a decent amount of csgo and come across allot of random people that i will probably be talking to for the next 40min. I wasnt expecting this but throughout these 2 months ive had about 15 people comment and recognise that it was a zoid, and every single one of them ended up having a 5min conversation about zoids and how they loved it as a child and forgot about it until they saw my profile picture. one person didnt even ask if it was a zoid but rather changed there profile picture to a shadow fox (which obviously sparked a conversation).

Im from Australia and all of the people i talked to only saw new century zero, which is a shame but makes sense as they where probably young when they watched it and it was the only one that was heavily advertised. about 3/4 of them said they would love that show to be brought back.

I understand that the anime series will probably never come back and im fine with that because i know that it left a peice of history in what im assuming is quite a few Australians.

Just thought i might share my little experience :)
