Why would I want to go out?

Why would I want to go out?

Every where I go it's the same.

The same over-played, uptempo music.

And the same generic people who listen to it.

So I'd rather just stay in.

To look at the same four walls.

And listen to the same over-played thoughts.

Edit: Thank you guys for the kind words. I used to really like doing poetry assignments in high school but never really did much on my own. I think I'll start writing more.
