I never cosplayed as her, but a quick Google search - "tali mass effect cosplay helmet" - yielded the following results:

Not sure if there is a more appropriate subreddit for this, but my girlfriend wants to cosplay as Tali, but is struggling with how to do the helmet without racking up heaps of expenses. If any people who have previously dressed up as her have any advice it'd be appreciated.
