Hey, r/Stanford. Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, but does anyone have any connections to former (or current) admissions officers?

I'm sure you probably hear this all the time, so I apologize for the redundancy. I'm a junior in high school, and I want more than anything to go to Stanford. It's my dream school in every way. My grades and ACT are high, but I've worked hard to make myself more than a student. Outside of school, I'm currently working on filing a patent, starting a business and multiple non-profit websites (for a political campaign), and meeting with my city's government to present a plan to switch to the metric system.

I want to maximize my chances of getting in, but the acceptance rate has dropped to 4.7%. At that rate, no one is ensured entry.

I know this is early, but if anyone knows any former admissions officers I can talk to (I assume there are rules against working with current officers?), that would be an incredible help. Otherwise, any other advise, contacts, or suggestions that could be of assistance would be great.

Thanks!
