Warm Bodies by A
Close to me
Not where you want to be
All of the things I've seen led me to here
I cry out
Ignored again, no doubt
But why are you here?
Why are you staying when you're gone?
And you're still so near me
So how don't you hear me?
Oh, you're so close to me
But you've never been
Or haven't been
No, you're not even here
But you're laying right there
Get up!
Get up, I want to hear you talk
Get up!
Get up and say it out loud
Get up!
Stand up!
Scream it on out
Let me hear what I need to hear
While you're laying right here

I like the energy in this poem. And it has a tone that seems very ghost-like to me.
I saw another commenter on another poem talk about the use of questions in poems. He said usually you are either answering your own question with the poem, or you are asking the reader to answer the question. I was just curious what you were trying to accomplish with your questions.
