Wondering What is Behind the Stars

Sitting on the roof
Gazing at the night sky
Stretching towards infinity
Wondering what is behind the stars.

Is it Heaven? Or perpetual whiteness?
Perhaps another Universe
Kissing ours lovingly
At the edge of existence.

Maybe when we reach the end
We come back to the beginning.
Would we be the same as before
Or would we change forever?

Shooting stars, nebulas, black holes,
A Milkyway filled with colors
There is plenty enough in this Universe
To keep our imaginations alive.

Sitting on the roof
Gazing at the night sky
Stretching towards infinity
Wondering what is behind the stars.

It is you and me
Two Universes kissing.
Holding on to each other,
Stars in our eyes, and in our gaze.
