Ahh, another proof that the global warming is a hoax.^/s

edit: woops, grammar mistake

Noble6New York City•

How can we be sure that the greens haven't built a giant Europe-sized snow making machine in order to trick us into caring about the environment?

17
GameChaos•

Nice grammer ,pro .

1
TrollorinoNiedersachsen•

It's a cycle, every 25 years the temperature rises by a half degree then it drops again. If you look at the correct years, then global warming is true. That's why they always show something between 1977-2003.

Climate change is a lie!

Sarajevo as well. Pretty surreal. Also, Slovenia confirmed Balkans.

21
eurovisionist7Croatia•

Winter is coming...

14
ama_deoPomerania•

Slovenia confirmed Balkans.

I think Slovenia will be offended.

You can't into Central Europe, Slovenia. Have you forgotten?!

12
vv_redditElbonia•

Romanian doctor? You're screwed.....

3
ama_deoPomerania•

You are so similar to us <3

You feel superior to the balkans as we see themselves superior towards Ukraine/Russia.

MY GOD! HIDE! QUICKLY

4
SarlohSlovenia•

Furiously eats beef soup

9
xaercOPSlovenia•

I guess that's even more unusual. Does it usually even snow there in the winter?

3
eurovisionist7Croatia•

It does on higher elevations. It used to be very rare but now it seems to happen every year.

5
ZetZetLithuania•

What do you mean it's a lie. Is this normal? Global warming predicts wild weather, not just warmer.

0†
AirazzLithuania•

Damn Lithuanians never get sarcasm.

16
ZetZetLithuania•

Reddit has rules for sarcasm because of stupid people, I choose to not look for sarcasm.

No, not really :)

Nice spring weather.

Petros557Hellenic Republic•

yeah it was pretty bad today. i had to take a jacket :(

11
theMolyDenmark•

Oh please... I just looked up the weather in Athens. I definitely wouldn't mind that right now!

4
FLOHTX•

As an American of Slovenian descent, I can see why so many Slovenians moved to Cleveland Ohio. Their weather is just as shitty, so the immigrants felt right at home!

11
nooknGermany•

I was in Ljubljana like a month ago and really had a great time. Awesome and beautiful city with cool people. The weather was better back then though. ;)

8
T00ddEuropean Union•

Oh crap. Hang in there guys. Ljubjana is such a lovely city.

7
xaercOPSlovenia•

Thanks, but it isn't a natural disaster, just a bit unusual.

My grandma's raspberries, vines, walnuts and apricots disagree. Pozeba že včeraj.

25
DarkHumourNoHate•

Take care of your grandma during the cold, she may be next ;)

11
LascielCoinSlovenia•

My grandma is in full rage mode because all of her fruit trees were damaged.

5
grim_asdfSlovenia•

So is my mother. What wasn't destroyed by the hail storm or broken by the heavy wet snow was destroyed by frost.

I guess I won't be getting any free delicious home made marmalade this year.

3
the_gnarts•

Just started snowing again in Germany. Until last year one of my reasons for wanting to move somewhere else was that it’s too warm for me here. I guess I’m going to have to scratch that one from the list …

I'll send this photo to my grandmother. She used to visit Ljubljana every year, as her family came from there. She is too old to travel so she stopped going, but I know she misses it.

Also, climate change is a myth /s

3
amystremienkamiSlovenia•

Snow also fell on 26th of April, 1979. Some photos: https://fototekamnzs.com/2016/04/28/snezna-podoba-slovenije/

We got something approcaching snow here in Helsinki last June.

2
ama_deoPomerania•

Similar weather was in Zakopane when I was few days ago.

2
Slusny_CizinecEuropean Union•

Prague, weather is like a seesaw (sun/wind/rain/hail), temperature around +8°C during the day, +4°C during the night.

Pretty unpleasant.

2
iholuvasFinland•

It was snowing here too just a couple days ago, haha.

2
Doug101Scotland•

Yep got snow in Scotland today as well

1
TszemixSweden•

Why is Ljubljana colder than Stockholm?

1
SlaskusSlidslam•

Bruh, we had snow in large parts of the country like a day ago.

And it isn't actually colder, well maybe right this moment, but usually not.

9
KoperKatSlovenia•

Prime inversion location.

6
TszemixSweden•

But we are supposed to be the vikings of the cold north.

1†
narcemeaBulgaria•

You mean the wildlings of the cold north. Winter is coming.

-1
hajena123Sweden•

It isn't. Ljubljana has oceanic climate, Stockholm has humid continental.

4
liliputputSlovenia•

Oceanic/humid subtropical/continental. It's a mess.

1
whatwouldaryadoGreek in London•

Damn. And I was complaining about a bit of sleet in London.

Graffiti seen on an Amsterdam statue many years ago: hey, hey, it's the first of May, outdoor f---ing starts today. Offer void in Slovenia, apparently.

1
SzorongasMi smo more krvi prolili za bratstvo i jedinstvo naših naroda.•

I think the offer for outdoor fucking on the 1st of May is void everywhere on the 28th of April.

1
duckshoe2•

Didn't seem like it would become popular for a while yet.
