Feeling the searing anger and hate as I heard him speak,

The one that took you away from me, between the sheets.

The hairs on the back of my neck stood tall,

As through this landslide of emotions, I fall.

Almost a year has passed since this boy was forced to become a man,

And still I find, for you I would do all I can.

Because I never should stop loving you, not even for a day.

No, instead, I shall just love you in a different way.
