Spec Ops 2 Task List (Reward: Winter Soldier)

• 1. Arms Race: Defeat 10 Hydra soldiers in Spec Ops 2.
• 2. Tryst and Trust: Complete a deploy in Spec Ops 2.
• 3. Militarization: Defeat War Machine in Spec Ops 2, Mission 1.
• 4. Armed and Dangerous: Defeat Winter Soldier in Spec Ops 2, Mission 1.
• 5. Secession: Choose a side in the Civil War by starting Spec Ops 2, Mission 2.

Choosing Iron Man locks out: MN Captain America, AOU Captain America, CW Captain America, Daredevil, Spider-Woman and Wasp.

If you need a tank, I have been getting great utility from Luke Cage (his trials are relatively easy, to get from 1star to 3 stars), and CaptainMarvel (her Fly,Fight,Win grants follow-up-attacks and Hastened to all allies).

• 6. ARMOR vs. SHIELD: Defeat 10 SHIELD agents in Spec Ops 2, Mission 2.

This cannot be done in one run; defeat the agents (~6), restart mission, do the battle again to compete this task.

• 7. Taking Sides: Defeat 4 Opposition heroes in Spec Ops 2.

You cannot complete this task in a single run of Mission 2.

Due to the nature of the following task, I highly recommend Defeating Sharon Carter, then restart the mission, 4 times.

The path list, for your curiosity:

--> Sharon Carter

--> x9 Tactician Iron Man Armors (It's hard! Bring a shield- breaker if you can, or at least x3 Infiltrators of 3stars or higher) (This battle does NOT count for this task)

--> Spider-Woman or Wasp

--> Daredevil or Civil War (CW) Captain America. CW Cap will wreckkk your scrappers, so beware.

--> Winter Soldier

• 8. Turing Test: Apply Mental Debuffs x10 times to Iron Man Armors in Spec Ops 2, Mission 2

Mental Debuffs include: Off-Balance (take additional Free Action Damage); Distracted (provokes a counter-attack); Demoralized; Intimidated.

E.g. Heroes that can apply Mental Debuffs: Ant-Man, Luke Cage, Vision, MN BlackWidow, Iron Fist

• 9. Pompilidae: Defeat Wasp or Spider-Woman in SO 2.2
• 10. Winter Solstice: Defeat Winter Soldier in SO 2.2
• 11. Networking: Complete 3 deploys in SO 2

Deploys can be completed in Spec Ops #1 and may actually be more energy efficient.

E.g. Spec Ops 1-3, a deploy can be completed after completing 2 battles at the rate of 9 energy per battle

i.e. 9x2 = 18 energy.

If you had spent that 18 energy on Chapter 1-1 missions on Normal difficulty at the rate of 6 energy per battle (i.e. allowing for 3 battles), you'd gain 3x5 = 15 Conflicted Directives, the Spec Ops unit of energy. 15 CDs doesn't even allow you to complete 2 full battles.

• 12 - Bite Down: Defeat Tiger Shark in Spec Ops 2, Mission 1.

He is the alternate boss of Spec ops Mission 1, follow Hydra all the way.

• 13. Knives in the Dark: Apply Physical debuffs to enemies in Wakanda (x5 times) (Spec Ops 2, Mission 3)

Physical Debuffs include: Ionized, Weakened, ... stuff that decreases enemy stat by a percentage %.

E.g. Heroes that can apply Physical debuffs: Vision, Rocket, Iron Fist

• 14. Blood of my Brother: Use Sharp attacks on Opposition Heroes in Spec Ops 2, Mission 3 (x10 times).

Don't worry about redoing the mission because there are a lot of heroes in mission 3.

These are Sharp attacks against the enemy Heroes themselves. i.e. in the first Hulk mini-boss battle, apply x10 Sharp attacks to Hulk specifically for this task to track (or the Spider-Man mini-boss battle after).

• 15. American Dream: Defeat Captain America in Spec Ops 2, Mission 3.

For this task, when you are presented with the 2 options for fighting Captain America (i.e. either with Winter Soldier, or with Iron Man), choose With Iron Man in order to complete this task, specifically.

You will need to replay the entire Mission 3 and fight Captain America With Winter Soldier as a prerequisite step towards unlocking Epic CW Cap (see Task 17 below).

• 16 War of Attrition - Defeat Opposition Heroes in Spec Ops 2, twelve (?!) times

• 17 Battleground. -Defeat Epic Boss Captain America's team in Spec Op 2, Mission 3. Yeah.

"I finally unlocked Epic Captain America. the requirements (order of completion are not important) are:

-Beat Tiger Shark on Spec Ops 2, Mission 1.

-On Mission 3 defeat Captain America With Winter Soldier.

-On Mission 2, Defeat the Mini-boss Hulk near the end. Not Captain America. I went with Wasp, Daredevil, Hulk.

-Congrats, the battle path for Epic CA is unlocked in Mission 3. When you open Mission 3, you should see 3 red (i.e. boss) icons, one of which specifically says Epic Boss.

-In Mission 3, after beating Hulk Mini-Boss, fight the Hydra team instead of Spider-Woman. If you have completed the above x3 requirements, there will be an orange battle to fight Daredevil Mini-Boss. The icon is hidden beneath another icon, so if you are having trouble, spin the map around to get a better view. Do NOT fight Falcon Mini-Boss if you want to fight Epic CW Cap.
