I like the idea of the piece; the execution is a little shaky. 

There is something awesome happening here with the repetition of the word and sound of "not". It's something Margaret Atwood would do. My favorite part is "Attaching love to---
Those who dare love us--
not" wow! Lots of feelings come pouring out with just a few words!

My least favorite part is the end. It gets a bit confusing, the flow stops and using "her" makes the poem less ambiguous, I'd like "they" in place of "her". I understand you're referencing Death but that also hits a sore spot with me. Death IS something that happens, but it doesn't have to happen to evoke emotions out of people. Hinting towards death is sometimes more effective then actually using it.

I love the flow and feel of this. The repetition is nice. Is death the 'her' you're talking about? I like thinking that it's all about loving death.

I like this poem. I very much enjoyed the personification of death. I do not know if this was intentional, but death is the only thing that's certain and with death, of course, comes the complete cessation of consciousness. The end of this poem, for me, subtly, but thoroughly addressed this.

I enjoyed the flow of the poem. It's very clever how you encorporated the variant spellings of 'not'. I did not care for the personification of death. Making death a woman is to simple, and seems like the easy way out. Judging by how well written the poem is, I'd assume you are very much capable.
