"If your religion requires that you hate someone, you need a new religion"
So, SGI members, what does SGI say you should think about its former parent Nichiren Shoshu? Hmmmm...? Is excommunicating Ikeda for being a complete turd Nichiren Buddhism's "unforgivable sin"??
From SGI's own charter:
SGI shall respect and protect the freedom of religion and religious expression.
SGI shall, based on the Buddhist spirit of tolerance, respect other religions, engage in dialogue and work together with them toward the resolution of fundamental issues concerning humanity.
Why is it that this doesn't say "...EXCEPT FOR NICHIREN SHOSHU"? Is it a deliberate LIE?? Is SGI deliberately trying to mislead and manipulate people, and to misrepresent itself at the same time? Because SGI is absolutely, overtly, obviously intolerant toward its former parent Nichiren Shoshu - just look at the Soka Dickhead Spirit links above. You'll see. SGI promotes hatin' on Nichiren Shoshu - there can be no doubt about that.
Here it is, more than 25 YEARS since Nichiren Shoshu divorced Ikeda (and then later his SG/SGI), and Ikeda's still trying to convince everybody they need to hate Nichiren Shoshu! Is THIS the behavior of a Buddha?
Is THIS the behavior of someone who is qualified to guide YOU?
