Shayne and Aurox Tips
I'm no slouch when it comes to using Shayne and Aurox, I've learned many things from play testing them since i got them 1 hour after starting to play the full release of the game (as well as the open beta). Its extremely easy to close the gap between you and your opponent, and in most cases its easy to overwhelm them.
Classification:
-
Stealth
-
Initiator
-
Complex
Pros
-
High amounts of melee damage
-
Can get in and out of a brawl
-
Stun or pull enemies that are trying to run away or are using their ultimate
-
Boomerang, is handy when you are trying to get enemies who are trying to gain distance
-
Aurox will protect Shayne's head from getting hit and will make it harder for your enemy to crit on you
Cons
-
Aurox makes your hitbox very big
-
Boomerang can be wonky at times
-
being caught with all skills on a cool down puts Shayne and Aruox at a severe disadvantage
-
Somewhat slow when Aurox is present
-
When shield is broken you will loose damage if you have The Power of Two
-
Easy to get carried away and be found too deep in enemy territory
Powers
Weapon: Melee strikes from Shayne and Aurox combined
Talent: Ranged Boomerang from shayne
Passive: When Aurox is away shayne gets a movements speed buff (this is triggered by loss of shields, stealth strike, and tag team)
Stealth strike: Aurox cloaks Shayne for a limited time, when time expires or ability is triggered again aurox drops from the air and causes damage in a set radius
Fetch: Aurox separates from Shayne and retrieves or stuns an enemy, This ability also deals damage apart from stunning or pulling
Tag team: Aurox teleports away from Ahayne and releases his rage, dealing damage in a set area

Tips
-
Never be alone, This applies to every character in the game
-
Begin assault under stealth and make sure you have your opponent in stealth strikes radius
-
If possible engage from opponents blind spot
-
If Galiea, Rath, Isic, or another S&A are on the enemy team choose stun over pull
-
Gear that increases melee damage is recommended
-
When engaging with Galilea stay mobile at all times and wait for her shield toss, engage after dodging shield toss. When desecrate is active exit its range and cloak, retreat gather your teammates and assault her (this note will change after her nerf)
-
When engaging Rath if he hast seen you engage with stealth strike, wait for ultimate and fetch when he activates it.
-
When engaging Isic close range immediately, if he is in his ultimate fetch him immediately to pull him out
-
When engaging other S&A force him to use all his skills first, Assault after they have lost the edge
-
Take advantage of stealth strike and fetch to hit Thorn, or Marquis
-
Keep in mind Shayne and Aurox are not tanks they cant take absurds amounts of damage like montana
-
Element of surprise is your best friend, So is making your enemy panic
-
When using tag team throw your boomerang at your intended target (Thanks to Dias009 for reminding me of this)
Why those helix choices?
Level 1: Overpowering the enemy requires me to take damage while doing so, overshields allows me to soak up more hurt while engaging
Level 2: When first engaging an enemy with stealth strike its my strategy to take away any easy escape
Level 3: When the mutation is combined with the overshields helix you can dish out extra damage before your shields break, should be more than enough time to finish an encounter.
Level 4: Stuns are the way to go on late game, if you are being hit with an ultimate its really easy to end it with a stun, pulling enemies can be dangerous sometimes
Level 5: This perk goes back to the third helix choice of dealing extra damage
Level 6: When engaging making sure the opponent doesnt have the upper hand is very important, if they already have a part of their health and shields gone its easier to continue the attack
Level 7: Just like many previous shield choices this one is meant to boost melee damage output
Level 8 - 9: Just like helix #6 increasing skill damage is meant to cripple enemies when first engaging
Level 10: Tag team can release tons of damage in a short period of time and to make sure that damage is transmitted to enemies you want to keep them in there for as long as possible
