[BIFL Request] Vans-like shoes

I've been wearing Vans Atwood-style shoes for a few years now, but because I wear them every day and walk everywhere (I'm in college), I end up having to replace them before every school year because they wear out and get holes in the bottoms. I find them to be really comfortable, and I love how they look, but I can't be replacing $50 shoes every year. Is there anything in a similar style/fit that will last a little longer? I wear a 9.5 Mens in the U.S. Thanks!
