Old 3.5 Class for building a construct.

I am seeing if anyone here knows of an old 3.5 class from a supplement book. The whole purpose was similar to summoners but you made a construct instead of an eidolon. I remember the book also had a prestige class based on d6 rolls for luck. Any help would be great.
