[EVENT] Formation of the Federated Countries of the Former Dutch Caribbean
The Federated Countries of the Former Dutch Caribbean is a transitory state between Dutch sovereignty and independence. For the purposes of governance, the Netherlands Caribbean consisting of islands that are a part of the Netherlands constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has been dissolved and its islands forming their own constituents in the FCFDC. As such, the constituents are as follows, noting that the prefix "The Country of" is part of their official names:
The Country of Aruba
The Country of Bonaire
The Country of Curaçao
The Country of Sint Maarten
The Country of Saba
The Country of Sint Eustatius
The capital has been set as Willemstad temporarily. The defense of the islands consists of the local police forces, uniting into a total of 2000 policeman armed with riot gear, semi-automatic shotguns, and pistols under the command of Colonel David Jansma. The name of this faux-military is the Dutch Antillean Security Forces. The countries have decided to elect Liam van Dijk as the Stadtholder, who is tasked with negotiating with the Netherlands and CARICOM on the subject of secession. While the official name may be far different, the colloquial name for the federation is the Willemstad Government.
