Is rapid mode worth enabling on a 850 evo ssd?

So i read a guide on the sidebar about optimizing your ssd which mentioned enabling rapid mode in samsung magician.

So i did.

Now my question is if this is even worth it tho?

I did a little bit of searching online and came across posts that mention that its usefull when using sata 2 but not really when using sata 3 (which i am using) .

Nothing conclusive tho so im still not sure about this thats why im asking here.

Is it beneficial to have it on or does it barely do anything?

I also noticed that its using ram after searching a bit but i could be wrong tho? If it does, anyone knows how much ram it uses when its enabled?
