What Eurasians need to know

As a longtime lurker on this subreddit I have never bothered to speak out about the similarities that exist among the biracial spectrum between Hapas and non-Asian mixes. Doing research on this topic and other closely associated subject matters for the better part of 1.5 years, I found this forum to be an invaluable trove of information that allowed me to cross reference my own experiences in society with the external world around me. Through the years I have became increasingly conscious of how race affects almost every aspect of a person's reality and how skin color or one's racial phenotype is very often a make or break ingredient in how well a person will be integrated into society. That whiteness has and will forever remain a symbiotic weapon of oppression to POC, and that darkness of hue will invariably be associated with inadequacy and disfigurement is a truism.

Given these conditions I thought it necessary to voice my experiences as a BM/WW male and to show solidarity with Hapa people who have been throughout history the involuntary casualties of the genetics arms race. However, rather than a constructive dialogue on intersectionality and race, accusatory sentiments and miss-attributed motives led to my first thread thread being taken down. I guess the saying that "no good deed goes unpunished" was a very apt description of my participation in posting my first thread last evening.

Some people seem to have developed the mistaken impression that MOC who under any circumstance express romantic attraction to Asian women are the moral and pathological equivalent of white men who do the same. This is absolutely false. If one's life circumstances place you in a scenario where you are predominately surrounded by Asian people or perhaps by happenstance a relationship between a POC and an Asian female organically develops, that does not imply racial fetishization on the part of the MOC. The sociological forces of white supremacy and colonialism has nothing to do with said relationships and is quite separate from the classical WM/AF alliance. No one should descend into racist generalizations about another minority group and their affinities toward Asian women without first amassing sufficient evidence to justify the accusation.

As a BM/WW son who has lived a tortured life because of my parent's choices and societal attitudes broadly, I want Eurasians to know a couple of things.

1.) The WM/AF coalition affects EVERYONE not merely hapas. This is especially true for minority males who live in east Asian countries.

2.) The psychological consequences of interracial miscegenation for children transcend well beyond the WM/AF binary. They affect everyone whose appearance does not bare the face of Caucasian beauty standards/norms.

3.) You are not alone. It is not my intention to hijack this forum to impose my own perspective. All I want to do is raise awareness about how common and widespread these problems are and to shine a light on the broader implications of WM/AF relationships to those not directly involved but still very much affected. Deconstructing white supremacy globally should be a point of unity for every non-white male, and I am here to convey my solidarity to everyone fighting in these trenches.
