Where should I send my children's book text?

Hello. I've never published or written anything. However, I wrote a little children's book for fun. It needs illustration and a publisher. I'm not looking to get rich. I'd be thrilled if someone read it and liked it enough to try and publish it anywhere. It's a small book, probably 30 pages. 2-3 sentences per pay, for elementary school students. Any tips on somewhere I could send it? If it isn't good enough to publish, that's ok, I just don't want to get involved in a scam or anything. Thanks so much!
