New player question regarding graphics

What is up fellow BDO players! ^^

I got a short and easy question. I have been looking forward to playing this game for quite a while now. I got some free time on my hands and decided to give it a go. My PC is litterly ancient, and will be able to run the game at the optimization setting, or at the very luckiest "very low".

In about 4 - 5 weeks I will be getting my new PC, being able to run the game much higher. Do lower graphics take away anything from the fun in the game? Should I wait untill I get my new gig together and then start playing it, or just get into it now? I am not one to actually care much about graphics, gameplay matters much more to me, however the difference between optimization and (very) high are quite significant!
