Completely Newb @Seedboxing

So I've been trying to torrent a couple of things lately, mostly cartoon shows from my childhood that aren't on DVD, and I recently heard of seedboxes. From what I understand, these eliminate the worry of getting a claim from my ISP and not only that, but I can D/U at speeds far superior to my inferior Century Link 15/1mpbs. Can someone give me an in-depth answer that refers to the following questions I have regarding these services? Thanks in advance.

How do seedboxes work as far as getting the torrented files from their server to my PC? How much do I need to be willing to pay as far as a monthly cost for these things? Should I pay for a month's worth of service and mass-download a ton of movies and stuff? How do I go about setting a seedbox up and how do I use it?
